Purpose of the session:
The Academy of Finland (AoF) has two partners in the United States: the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Currently a joint call with the NIH is open: Academy of Finland – NIH joint cal - Academy of Finland (aka.fi)
Aim of this session is to provide PIs who are planning to apply with an opportunity to discuss their questions with an experienced U.S. research administrator
Session lead: Michelle Schoenecker
Michelle Schoenecker is a Senior Proposal Development Manager in the Office of Sponsored Programs & Office of Research at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In this role Michelle works closely with faculty in the identification, development, and writing of grant proposals to secure extramural research funding. Michelle will focus on advice on compelling grant proposal narratives.
