6G TECHNOLOGIES

Finland is at the forefront in research on 6G technology, dealing with both the implementation of the 5G network as well as the development of the future 6G standard. Several Finnish institutes of higher education and members of the FARIA network are focusing on research within this field. The leading institution being the University of Oulu as host of the 6G flagship financed by the Academy of Finland.
